My Profile

I have 20 years of experience in  the classroom in both public and private schools. I have been credentialed in both Secondary and Elementary levels. I have a Master's degree in education from the University of Iowa which is a leading institution  in educational research. I also have 1 1/2 years of Montessori Method teaching. I am dedicated to creating a safe, pleasant classroom environment to ensure student success. I like to establish clear objectives for lessons, units and projects. I prepare, administer and grade using multiple assessment modalities. I have experience in using inquiry based pedagogy. I have taught English literacy and grammar in American schools so I think I would do well teaching ESL or TEFL type classes.
