Introduction:

I am Marine Galstyan from Yerevan, Armenia, I started to learn English when I was 6. At the age of 10 I was able to communicate in English. As Armenia is one of the post-soviet republics, Russian was considered to be our second language.  I fluently speak English and Russian, besides my native language Armenian. I have got Maters Degree in English and German languages, specialized in pedagogy and translation. I have several teaching and qualification certificates both local and international.  For more than 18 years I have been teaching English to students of various age groups. I always use individual approach to each of my student taking into account their age, capability, interests and motivation. Thus I prefer to work with relatively smal groups with maximum 6 students in each group.

I adore working with children and toddlers, They are so smart and bright, they absorb any information like sponges and the feedback I get from them fills me  with joy and delight. I think the best age for starting to learn any foreign language is from the very young age: 2-3 years old.

Working with adolescences and adults is another interesting challenge for me. They have fixed purposes and perspectives, so I do my best to meet their requirements. English language is so dynamic and flexible, It is the language of business, sport, internet and innovative technologies. So new terminological words penetrates into English vocabulary.  I am for descriptive linguistics. I always try to be up-to date, and the use of contemporary vocabulary stock ;is always encouraged.  I always try to visualize my lessons; The type  of visualization depends on the age of the students, with the help of flashcards, videos, movies and thinking maps.

I am married and I have got three children; my daughters are 19 and 13 and my son is only 4. Thanks to  Language immersion technique ; i.e a technique used in bilingual language education in which two languages are used for instruction in a variety of topics, including math, science, or social studies, they all communicate in English very well. I always use resources and methods that develop  following four language skills; Listening, Speaking , Reading and Writing. I am ready to innovative methods in pedagogic that will help and motivate my students to learn English.  The wonder of teaching watching caterpillars become butterflies...
