After completing my degree in Interior Design I moved to London for three years. I worked in retail and loved the fact that i was surrounded by such diverse cultures and backgrounds, and was given the opportunity to learn about the world, and the people in it.
The fact that my TEFL certificate connects me with students around the world is exciting, whilst exploring the English Language with students, I am fortunate enough to learn about other cultures at the same time.
My classes are relaxed and energetic, I like to focus on getting the basics of the English language first, then moving on to pronunciation and correcting any errors made. In South Africa, we have 11 official languages, so I know how hard it can be to learn a second language.
I do believe that the only way to really learn the English Language is by speaking and practicing the language.
