Hello!

I am a 25-year-old native English speaker from South Africa. I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Movement Science and Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education as well as a 120-hour advanced online TEFL certification.

I have ample experience in teaching all ages from 4 until 18 years old. I also have experience as a stage actress and in public speaking. I have worked in schools and homework centers. I have experience in conversational English as well as K-12 curriculum English with all levels.

I absolutely love teaching English because not only is it a beautiful language, it also opens a whole new world to confidently explore. I love teaching both children and adults and am capable to do so proficiently.

When teaching I am energetic, positive, playful, and enthusiastic. My goal is always to foster a fun and safe working environment for the student and to allow the student to really explore the English language with me. I am aware of online ESL teaching techniques such as TPR, facial expressions and props and can incorporate these into my lessons.

I have an internet speed of 10mbs upload and download. My laptop has an excellent camera. In case of power outages, I have two other laptops to my disposal. As a highly dedicated and committed teaching professional with the qualifications and experience needed, I am confident that I would become a valuable member of your teaching staff.
