My Profile

Hello! I am someone who came from a small business, growing up working with my grandparents, parents and other family members. From this, I have a strong work ethic and love to serve. I graduated from a 4-year university with a Bachelor's degree in English, concentration in writing. While I was there, I was a Community Assistant, also known as a Resident Assistant, for 2 years. I worked and lived with 150+ students. Throughout my time, I maintained a 3.0, planned activities and enjoyed working on my memoir. I do have 1 year of graduate work completed in an education degree, but I chose to not continue this because I did not care for the course work being totally online. For a semester of my graduate career, I was a graduate assistant and worked 20 hours a week for the university theatre and was an after-school tutor for the university's Upward Bound Program. Finally, I found an amazing opportunity to travel to China for a year to teach university students English Writing and Conversation. I have future plans to complete a graduate degree, continue traveling and learning about different cultures.
