About Me
Introduction:
I am a dedicated and passionate English teacher with five years of ESL teaching in China. I have a BA in English and an MA in Writing. I have taught students of all ages, from children as young as three, all the way to adults. I teach Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening as well as test preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT. I speak Mandarin fluently and have a vast knowledge of Chinese culture and the Chinese education system. I spent years developing a comprehensive system of teaching English as a second language based off of a set of questions and answers with increasingly complex grammar points. I have experience in teaching, management and running a company and I know that I can be a valuable addition to any team.

Created an interactive lesson book to effectively teach both Reading and Writing through narratives that both interest the students and help them learn. Trained foreign teachers to meet a standard of excellence that rivaled the top training centers in the country. Created cross-platform media marketing strategies via both social media and other outreach programs. Started with only four students and grew the business to nearly 50 within a year, while making all of the initial overhead start-up costs of the business. Recruited teachers from the English-speaking world to send to China to both my school others, while also providing additional training to meet the needs of other institutions.

Taught all aspects of the English language to students aged K-12 Promoted to manager and offered a percentage of the business after my second year after pitching a new system of teaching. Created a comprehensive system to teach English based off of questions and answers framed around different grammar points. Wrote an entire story book with 75 lessons designed to teach English from a base level all the way up to college-level.
