Sibhekisipho Fayayo is an educator and an emerging researcher whose interests lie in the African, Afro-American and Afrodiasporic literature as well as communication for development.
His work experience includes over ten years of full time, part time and voluntary (or internship) work in the media,non-governmental organisation in Zimbabwe as well as academic institutions in South Africa. Working in these environs have afforded him to gain knowledge in areas such as research and evaluation,media relations,Primary,High School and University teaching as well as supervising academic writing among others.
He has been an arts and leisure, as well as sports reporter for Zimpapers from 2010-2016.He was also as a tutor in the department of English at the University of Fort Hare from 2016-2017. He has also done part-time teaching in between times teaching both High School and Primary school pupils.
Sibhekisipho holds a BA Hons. in English & Communication Studies from Midlands State University in Zimbabwe as well as MA in English Language and Comparative Literature Studies from University of Fort Hare in the Republic of South Africa.
