My Profile

I am a dedicated, tenacious and reliable teacher who approaches teaching with planning, patience and evaluation. Colleagues and students would describe me as consistent, approachable and motivated. I believe that encouragement, recognition and reward facilitate an environment where students can gain the confidence they need to achieve their goals in English. My experience predominantly lies in teaching larger groups, up to 50, but I am very comfortable with all class sizes. I mostly enjoy teaching classes of between 10 and 20 so that I can really understand the students' needs and learning styles. So far I have taught English in South Korea, China, Kazakhstan and Cambodia but I have also helped people with English in every country I have ever visited. I feel strongly that English is a gateway in life and I like to give people opportunities.
