instructors with profound experience to teach highly motivated students. This
is a great opportunity for you to supplement your income or to keep your skills
fresh by teaching part-time courses online.
About
us
Founded
in 2015, Vipteens aims to introduce the English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum
into mainland China from North America. Through the Internet, Elementary and
middle school teachers of North America could give lessons to Chinese students
directly. Meanwhile, Chinese students could receive the original K-12 education
of North America even without leaving home.
Our
typical student is aged 8-16. Selected instructors will be able to work from
home or anywhere you wish as long as you have good internet access, all classes
are home-based.
Instructor
Responsibilities
1.
To teach students English Language Arts.
2.
To evaluate the performance and progress of each student.
3.
Provide instructions, support and guidance, manage the learning process and
focus on individual needs of the students.
Minimum
Qualifications
Bachelor
or above degree in English, Education, Literature, Comparative Writing or TESOL.
With
experience in one or more of the following subjects: Language Arts(Writing,
Reading, Literature, Creative Writing).
A
current teaching credential is required.
Proficient
in general PC literacy and online web conferencing platforms.
High
degree of flexibility. Ability to work remotely.
Ability
to conduct classes between the hours of 19:00 to 21: 30 Monday-Friday GMT+8,
and 8 am to 21:30 pm on weekend. A class with 6-8 students will be 1.5 hours in
length. Minimum 16 weeks commitment.
Always
punctual (have class before or on time).
PAYMENTS
Our
teachers receive a base pay of US$ 25-$40/hour. There are bonuses for every
lesson, so a typical salary range would be between US$ 35-50/hour. This
position is ideal for part-time teachers looking to supplement their income and
to develop skills in teaching ESL&ELA to international students.
